Coach's Comments

What an incredible weekend! Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on the Spuds at Friday's Dragon Twilight Meet. The Spuds enjoyed a massive home course advantage. We kept that energy going on Saturday morning with our first ever Bring Your Family to Practice Day. This support gives our athletes a massive boost as we dive into the season.

After a busy start, we now settle into our normal school routine with no high school meets on the schedule this week. This gives us a valuable training block to continue building our foundation of caring. This week, our focus shifts to caring for worthwhile goals. Pursuing something meaningful means accepting that it will not always be easy. A tough workout or a challenging mile is not a sign of failure, it is simply a necessary part of growth. Another week of hard work and growth will put the Spuds in a great spot headed into our home meet on September 17.
